The Game Engine supports a Quest Journal. It is thematic based on the Player's current character. The Character records details and reminders about upcoming plot points in the Journal, and there is a User Interface to browse the journal. The character can also have “thoughts” about the items, to add additional details without having them written out on the actual page or entry.

Items that are completed will get checked off or scratched off of the list.

When a mystery is going on, the Journal will also have a mechanism to track and eliminate suspects, which can be manually manipulated like the paper in the board game “Clue.”
