the name of the letter rhymes with hate.
rhyming with bet (like in poker) is also acceptable.

if you say the sound at the beginning of “coat” and then the sound of “home” and then try to make a sound exactly half-way between them, that might be close.

usually writteh khet in these lessons, but others will write it as: heth, het, chet, cheth. or even ches.

never the English “ch” as in “cheese”
