===== Scene Lighting Modes =====

[[Scene|Scenes]] draw data from the [[Location Specifications]] to choose [[Location Assets]] designed with one of the following lighting modes:

  * Daytime Lighting:
    * DTX - [[Daytime Exterior]]
    * DTL - [[Daytime Interior]]
    * DDR - [[Daytime Dark Room]] (Rare)
  * Nighttime Lighting:
    * NX - [[Nighttime Exterior]]
    * CX - [[Campfire Exterior]]
    * LL - [[Lantern Lighting]]
    * NL - [[Nighttime with Lights On]]
    * NDR - [[Nighttime Dark Room]]

A given Location only supports certain lighting modes and certain [[Location Options]].  Refer to the Location’s individual page for that information.

Scene Backdrops and Overlays are both lit according to the mode.  If an overlay isn't impacted by a particular mode (such as Lights On) then only the "X" version of it needs to be rendered.
